NEW! Welcome to the Dragonfly Acres Junior Counselor Program (JCP). Our program was developed for ages 13 - 16 years of age. Having the opportunity to volunteer as a Junior Counselor at our upcoming 2026 Summer Farm Camp! Every Junior Counselor will be under the supervision of a Trained Camp Counselor and Ms. Sharlee. The program will include a mandatory Orientation for a meet n greet on June 6th at 10am - 11am

​$75 Fee per JCP no matter how many camps they can attend. Pay once your child is accepted into the program.

• Learn How to Properly Handle & Care for our Rescue Farm Animals

• Education by Hands On Experience 

• Working with Children Ages 6-12

• Learn Responsibility for Performing set tasks and duties

• Learn How to Give Direction and Display Leadership

• Learn Patience and Understanding while working with farm animals and children

• Using Creativity to Prep Crafts and Activities/Games for camp

• Opportunity to Earn Service/Volunteer Hours

• Future Opportunity in reaching a set goal of DAF volunteer hours resulting in future employment opportunities 

• Certificate of Completion including noted service hours.

 

Please note that we can only accept a limited amount Junior Counselors into the program. Decisions will be based off of your child's reason for wanting to participate, commitment and availability.
